It all began in 1950 when the brothers Francesco and Nicola Turano created one of the biggest companies in southern Italy. Thanks to their love for agriculture and livestock, the second generation of the family easily rose to the national and
international levels of trade. Gennaro and Leonardo, sons of Francesco Turano, embraced the ideas of his father combining experience and knowledge. They created TURANO GROUP, that includes Agricola San Marco, IL CAR and Salumificio San Marco, and nowadays the company is one of the leaders in the production and selling of beef, swine, horse, sheep and goat meat. It offers to its customers quality, security and, most of all, a healthy and genuine product.
